They Really Do Love Each Other!

On Monday, Ryan came home from school early because he threw up in his classroom. Surprisingly, he was not embarrassed one bit. When I asked him what happened, he said my tummy started to hurt and I ran as fast as I could but didn't make it!

So after a rough night, I kept him home on Tuesday. Abbey woke up and got ready and asked me where is Ryan? I told her he was still sick and staying home today. I turned around and she had big tears in her eyes and said "I'm going to miss Ryan. I won't see him at recess or lunch". I gave her a hug and told her she could play with him after school, but that was not enough, she was quiet the entire ride to school. About an hour or two after that, Ryan was laying on the couch and I asked him how he was feeling. He looked up at me with crocodile tears and said "Not very good". When I asked him why he said "I miss Abbey" and then we both began to cry.

It was a rough afternoon waiting for Abbey to come home, but when she did they both hugged each other and were teary eyed so happy to be back together. The happy reunion lasted about forty-five minutes and then Abbey was banished from his room for singing too loud.

So sweet. Isn't it nice to have those little moments now and then.

That is the sweetest story. You knew they loved each other the whole time. Didn't you know that when they are trying to kill each other that it is a form of kid love. Cute story.
